dznt is the alias of Kobe, Japan-based electronic producer Naoki Yoshioka. Over the past 10 years he’s been active in the Kansai region’s electronic music community as both DJ No-Key and dznt, with each project specializing in warm, hypnotic, and diverse beats. 'Circle Of Life' marks his label debut for Seattle-based indie label Hush Hush and it quickly proves to be the pinnacle of his output to date. Over five original tracks, dznt displays an elegant touch where songs organically build from engaging foundations into mesmerizing waves of sound. Influences from techno, house, ambient, hip-hop, IDM/glitch, and downtempo all seep into his sonic web, but dznt’s mission is focused on creating a feeling rather than pinpointing a genre. Progressive, abstract, and welcoming, 'Circle Of Life' proudly introduces a blossoming artist within the Japanese electronic music scene with a lush and magnetic offering. Closing out the release is a stellar and intricate remix from Richmond, VA-via-Seattle electronic producer and previous collaborator with Hush Hush, Lushloss.
